Earning Your Social Impact & Community Engagement Diploma: The How-To Guide
 

Our Diploma isn’t just a certificate—it’s a journey, shaped by your service.

The course includes five modules:
 

  1. Understanding Your Host Community & Volunteer Responsibilities (5 credits | 42 GLH)

  2. Planning and Preparing for Service (7 credits | 32 GLH)

  3. Understanding Global Citizenship (9 credits | 30 GLH)

  4. Professionalism in Practice in Community Service (14 credits | 53 GLH)

  5. Reflecting on Your Own Service (3 credits | 16 GLH)
     

To complete the course, you’ll need to volunteer in your community (time depends on placement) and complete approximately 36 hours of additional study time. Everything is designed to be flexible, so you can study at your own pace.

Transferring Your Academic Credit: The How-To

Academic course credits are tallied up differently around the world—but rest assured, this Diploma is a Level 3 qualification, accredited by NOCN, and recognised internationally.
 

  • UK: 38 credits = ~16 UCAS points (comparable to A-Level standard).

  • Europe: ~20–21 ECTS credits.

  • US: ~9 semester credits.

  • Other regions: credit value varies, but the Diploma is globally recognised.
     

This makes your local volunteering not only impactful for your community but also a stepping stone for your education and career.
